Removing
There are two different tie rod ends being installed: one marked with " R" and one marked with "L" and an "arrow". They indicate the driving
direction.
They can be removed and installed with the steering gear in the vehicle.

With vehicles with air suspension, place vehicle on hoist. Refer to => [ Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels ] See: Suspension/Service and

Remove front wheel.

Loosen lock nut - 2 -. Counterhold at the tie rod hex head - 1 -.

Loosen nut of track rod ball joint, but do not unscrew yet.

Press the tie rod end off the wheel bearing housing with the (3287 A).
