Install bellows and clamp.
‹› Only use original clamps.

Tighten clamp using (VAS 6199) as far as shown in illustration.

Tighten the tie rod with a new nut to 90 Nm on the wheel bearing housing.

After installing a new tie rod, vehicle must be aligned => [ Work Procedure, Vehicle Alignment Overview ] See: Alignment/Service and
Repair/Work Procedure, Vehicle Alignment Overview.

Install wheel and tighten.

On vehicles with air suspension, position vehicle on wheels. Refer to => [ Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels ] See: Suspension/Service and
