Stabilizer Link: Removal and Replacement
Rear Suspension (AWD)

Connecting link, removing and installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Torque wrench V.A.G 1332

^

Wood block (hardwood) 30 x 50 x 1300 mm

Removing 

-

With vehicles with air suspension, place vehicle on hoist.

-

Remove wheel.

-

Insert wood block between underbody - Arrow A - and upper rear link - Arrow B -.

Wood block is needed to press wheel bearing housing down.

-

Remove nut from bolt - arrow -

-

Now, using wood block, press wheel bearing housing down far enough to remove bolt arrow -.
