Air Supply Unit without Solenoid Valve Block

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331)

‹› Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1783)

‹› Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051 B)

‹› Standard socket open end 12 mm

Removing

-

Place vehicle on hoist. Refer to => [ Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Positioning Vehicle on Hoist
and Wheels.

Perform system vent at front suspension with (VAS 5051B). Refer to => [ System, Venting or Filling ] See: Service and Repair/System, Venting
or Filling.

Remove right underbody trim. Refer to => Radiator Support See: Body and Frame/Lock Carrier.

Disconnect intake line - 1 - at clutch.

-

Disconnect the electrical connections - 1 - and -  2 - between the air supply unit and the body.
