Suspension strut (coil spring), removing and installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Torque wrench V.A.G 1332

^

Wood block (hardwood) 30 x 50 x 1300 mm

Removing 

-

With vehicles with air suspension, place vehicle on hoist.

-

Remove wheel.

-

Remove suspension strut - arrows -.

-

Insert wood block between underbody - arrow A - and rear upper link - arrow B -

Wood block is needed to press wheel bearing housing down.
