Tire Pressure Monitoring Control Module 2

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051 B)

Removing

Installed location on a LHD vehicle: on the left side next to the steering column.

Installed location on a RHD vehicle: on the right side next to the steering column.

If control module is replaced, read out coding before removal using Guided Fault Finding in "Replace Control Module" function.

Remove the upper instrument panel cover on the driver side (knee bar).

Remove the Tire Pressure Monitoring Control Module 2 (J793) - 1 -.

Disconnect connector and remove control module.

Installing

Installation is the reverse of removal, with special attention to the following:

If tire pressure monitoring control module 2 is replaced, system must be recoded.

Connect (VAS 5051 B) and select the control module in "Guided Functions".
