CAUTION!
Do not damage or scratch selector shaft running surface.

Pierce through shaft seal with a small screwdriver or scriber and pull out.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, note the following:

Lubricate outer circumference and space between sealing lips with ATF.

‹› Installation position: Open side of shaft seal faces transmission.

Press new shaft seal onto selector shaft.

-

Press on new shaft seal as far as stop using Thrust Piece (T10135) and assembly lever - A - or plastic hammer without twisting seal.

Drive spring pin back onto removed selector shaft lever in opposite direction to lever.

-

Slide selector shaft lever onto selector shaft, align and drive in spring pin.
