Headlamp Washer Spray Nozzle: Service and Repair

Headlamp Washer System Spray Nozzles

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hose Clamp Pliers (V.A.G 1275)

Removing

-

Remove front bumper cover. Refer to => Bumper See: Body and Frame/Bumper

‹› Lay cloths between bumper and pliers to protect bumper cover.

-

Pull spray nozzle telescope out of bumper cover as far as stop. 

‹› Hold telescope in extended position with pliers.

-

Spread side walls of cover - 1 - for spray nozzle -  arrow A - and swing cover down - arrow B -.

-

Carefully disengage cover side walls from retaining pins -  2 - and - 3 -.

-

Remove fluid hose - 2 - from spray nozzle -  1 -.

-

Remove screws - arrows - and remove spray nozzle. 

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
