Evaporator Case: Service and Repair

Front HVAC Unit Evaporator Housing, Disassembling and Assembling

A/C unit, removing and installing.

-

Attachments, removing from heating A/C unit and re-installing.

-

A/C unit, disassembling and assembling.

Remove air intake housing from heating A/C unit.

-

Remove air distribution housing with wiring harness from evaporator housing.

Foam seal

For seal at plenum chamber rear wall with heating A/C unit installed.

Bolt

Tightening torque 10 Nm

Removing and installing (removing and installing expansion valve).

Expansion valve

Observe the correct assignment, versions vary.

Checking function (checking cooling performance of A/C system).

Lubricate lightly with refrigerant oil before installing.
