Upper Instrument Cover, Driver Side Knee Bar

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Trim removal wedge 3409

Removing

-

Remove lower instrument panel trim on driver side.

CAUTION:
-

Always follow the removal sequence when removing the upper instrument panel cover (knee bar).

-

Not following the removal sequence may result in damaging the instrument panel.

-

Place the trim removal wedge 3409 between the instrument panel and the upper instrument panel cover (knee bar) as shown in the illustration.

Carefully unclip the upper instrument panel cover (knee bar) - 1 - hooks - 2 -.

NOTE:  The upper instrument panel cover (knee bar) is not illustrated.

Remove the upper instrument panel cover (knee bar) - 1 - in - direction of arrow - out of the hooks - 2 - and out of the instrument panel - 3 -.
