Removing

-

Install protective body covers. Refer to => [ Protective Body Covers, Installing ] See: Engine/Service and Repair/Procedures.

Remove the air filter housing.

-

Remove the rear impact absorber. 

R8 Spyder:

-

Remove the bolts - 3 - and press the left secondary air injection pump to the side.
