R8 Quattro Coupe V10-5.2L (BUJ) (2010)
Removing
-
Switch off ignition.

Remove the glove compartment.

Mark the electrical connector - A - to the Evaporator Vent Temperature Sensor (G263) (there is a risk of switching it with other identical
connectors).

Disconnect the electrical connector - A - on the evaporator vent temperature sensor - B -.
-
Turn the evaporator vent temperature sensor - B - counterclockwise - arrow - and remove it from the A/C unit.
Installing
To installed, perform the steps done during removal in reverse order. Note the following:

Replace the seal - B - if it is damaged or faulty.

When inserting, make sure the wide guide - D - on the evaporator vent temperature sensor - A - aligns with the mount - C - on the A/C unit.

Install the glove compartment.
After finishing the repairs, perform the following work on the Climatronic Control Module (J255) using Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information
system VAS 5051/ in the "Guided Fault Finding" function:

Check the DTC memory and erase any malfunctions shown.
