Coolant Thermostat With Housing

Coolant Thermostat with Housing

Removing

-

Drain the coolant. Refer to => [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures.

Remove coolant hose - 2 - at bottom of coolant thermostat housing and let rest of coolant drain.

Remove bolts - arrows -.

-

Remove housing with the thermostat and remove the upper coolant hose - 1 - on the coolant thermostat housing.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Replace seals and O-rings.

‹› Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model.

Fill with coolant => [ Filling ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures.
