Constant Velocity Joint: Overhaul
Triple Roller Joint (Front)
Triple roller joint, disassembling

Clamp drive axle in vise.
Note:

Use protective jaws.

Open clamp at CV joint and slide back CV boot.

Bend open metal tabs with a flat tip screwdriver and pry off cover.

Mark installation positions of parts 1 to 3 in relation to each other before disassembling.
If they are not marked and are not re-installed in their previously installed positions, noises may occur later during driving operation.
Use a waterproof felt-tip pen for marking.

2 - Triple roller joint
3 - Drive axle

Remove O-ring - arrow - from groove.

Hold joint body and remove drive axle from vise.
