Disconnect electrical harness connector - arrow - for Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor -G40- on right cylinder head.

-

Disconnect electrical harness connector - 2 - at Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor -G2-/-G62-.

-

Remove nut - 1 - and remove electrical wiring harness at rear coolant pipe.

-

Remove hose clamp - 1 - using hose clamp pliers VAS 5024 A.

-

Remove hose clamp - 6 - using hose clamp pliers VAS 5024 A and disconnect coolant hose.

-

Remove bolts - 2 to 5 -.

-

Remove rear coolant pipe.

Installing
Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Replace O-rings.

Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type

During installation, reinstall all cable ties at the same locations.

Clean and/or smooth O-ring sealing surfaces before installing.

Coat new O-rings with non-corrosive lubricant (e.g. Vaseline), install rear coolant pipe and tighten.

Install right coolant pipe
