Can only be replaced as complete unit

15. Bolt M8 x 30 with permanent washer

-

Tighten to 23 Nm

NOTE:  Check the installation position with fuel tank/fuel filler tube removed.

Route Ground (GND) connection (arrow) as shown in figure.

Ensure Ground (GND) connection connector fits securely at metal ring of fuel filler tube.

-

Check whether contact is locked at edge of securing hole.

-

Bolt wire contact -1- with securing bolt -2- for fuel filler tube.

WARNING:  After installing, check electrical connection of metal ring at fuel filler tube to a blank portion of chassis using Ohm meter:

Specified value: approx. 0 Ohm
