Disconnect connector - 1 - from ignition pill - 2 -.

-

Installing:

CAUTION:
-

Note safety precautions for working on airbags and side curtain airbags.

-

Always follow side curtain airbag installation procedure.

-

Clip bracket - 3 - into roof frame.

-

Clip in brackets - 4 -,- 5 -,- 6 - and - 7 -.

-

Tighten bolt - 3 -.

-

Engage side curtain airbag at threaded pins and tighten nut - 1 - by hand.

-

Tighten bolts - 2 -.

-

Tighten bolts - 4 -, - 5 - and - 7 - and and.

-

Tighten bolt - 6 -.

-

Tighten nuts - 1 -.

Installation is reverse of removal, noting the following:

-

Switch on ignition.

CAUTION:  No one should be in vehicle when connecting battery.

-

Connect the battery ground (GND) strap.

NOTE:
-

Follow safety measures after connecting battery.

-

If the Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) K75 shows a malfunction after assembly, DTC memory must be checked with Vehicle
Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 A, cleared and then rechecked.
