Position engine support bracket 10-222 A on fender mounting edges.

-

Hook engine support bridge hooks through engine lifting eye.

Take up weight of engine with spindle of support bracket, but do not lift engine.

Remove left front wheel

-

On vehicles with auxiliary heater, remove bolts - arrows - for exhaust pipe of auxiliary/additional heater at sound insulation.

-

Release quick-release fasteners - 1 -, remove bolts - 2 - and detach front sound insulation.

Remove heat shield - 1 - for drive axle (left-side) - arrows -.
