CAUTION!
The lock carrier must be installed.

First remove bolts - 2 - and - 3 - and then mounting bolts - 1 - and - 4 - of subframe.

Lower transmission and subframe using engine/transmission jack (V.A.G 1383 A) to dimension - a -. 

‹› Dimension - a - = 50 mm.

-

Remove heat shield - 1 - for left drive axle.
