Undamaged Side Window (Sedan), Installing

When reusing an undamaged window, cut remaining adhesive sealing material on window and flange using carpet knife until even, but do not
remove completely!
Leftover material is required as a base for better adhesion of the new adhesive sealing material.

Keep surface free of dirt and grease.

CAUTION:  Do not prime bonding surface or treat with cleaning solution.

NOTE:  Adhesive sealing material DH 009 100 03 (small cartridge) is recommended when bonding a single window; D 004 300 05 (2K-
adhesive) is recommended when bonding more than one window.

Insert window in window cutout and secure with adhesive tape.

Secure molding at C-pillar using rivet.

-

Apply adhesive material to leftover material around edge.

Dimension - a - = 12 mm

Dimension - b - = 8 mm

NOTE:  Reduce the thickness of the adhesive bead by the dimension of the leftover material on the window and window flange.
