Instrument Panel Vents

Instrument Panel Vents

Disconnect the connector for the instrument panel vent illumination. 

‹› The passenger side vents are shown in the illustration.

‹› In order to remove the illumination connector, the center instrument panel vents must removed.

-

Move the rear flaps in the instrument panel vents to the center position by turning the thumbwheel - 1 -.

-

Install tool 3438 into position - 2 - or -  3 - into the instrument panel vent.

-

Slide tool 3438 into the cut-outs - 4 - at the back of the vent.

-

Pull out the vent using special tool 3438 alternating left and right toward the rear.
