C-pillar trim

‹› Removal:

-

Remove rear seat side panel => [ Rear Seat Side Upholstery ] See: Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seats or rear side
airbag => [ Rear Side Airbag, Folding Backrest, Removing and Installing ] See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Side Airbags, Servicing.

-

Remove luggage compartment side trim => [ Luggage Compartment Side Trim ].

-

Remove cover above rear doors => [ Trim above Rear Door, Removing and Installing ]. 

-

Remove rear belt guide => [ Left and Right Rear Belt Guide Piece ] See: Restraint Systems/Seat Belt Systems/Seat Belt/Service and Repair. 

-

Remove bolts for head-level airbag in rear area => [ Side Curtain Airbag, Avant ] See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Side Curtain Airbag, Servicing.

-

Remove the bolts - 3 -.

-

Remove trim - 1 -, unclip spring clip -  - to do so.

‹› Installing:

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order. Observe the following when doing so:

-

Secure head-level airbag with new bolts => [ Side Curtain Airbag, Avant ] See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Side Curtain Airbag, Servicing.

Lay the rubber seal in the rear side door over the C-pillar trim.
