Side Curtain Airbag Connector

‹› Removal:

-

Disconnect the battery ground (GND) strap.

-

Remove sun visor. Refer to => [ Sun Visor ] . 

-

Remove upper trim on A-pillar. Refer to => [ Upper A-Pillar Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair/Removal
and Replacement/Trim.

-

Remove D-pillar trim. Refer to => [ D-Pillar Trim, Removing and Installing ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Trim, Avant. 

-

Remove trim above rear door. Refer to => [ Trim above Rear Door, Removing and Installing ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /
Trim/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Trim, Avant.

-

Disconnect connector - 9 - on side curtain airbag. Refer to => [ Side Curtain Airbag Connector, Disconnecting ] 

-

Remove the bolt - 6 -.

-

Remove bolts - 2 - (Qty. 2) in area of gas generator. 

-

Remove cap nut - 1 - in area of gas generator.

-

Remove bolts - 4 -, - 5 - and -  7 -

-

Remove the bolt - 3 -.
