Selector Lever Handle

Selector Lever Handle

Removing

-

Place selector lever in position "D".

-

Turn sleeve - 1 - counter-clockwise all the way and then slide it downward.

-

Carefully pull the lock button on the selector lever handle -  2 - out of the handle - 3 - until a cable tie can be inserted between the lock button and
the selector lever.

‹› Do not pull the lock button further out of the selector lever handle otherwise the handle will be damaged.

-

Secure lock button in pulled-out position using cable tie -  arrow - as shown in illustration.

Pull selector lever handle upward and off.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

-

Place selector lever in position "D".

‹› To install new selector lever handle - 3 -, the lock button - 2 - must be pulled out as far as stop and secured with a cable tie - arrow - or using

assembly aid included with new handle.

‹› If the button was not secured, it must not be pulled out from the handle using mechanical aids. Apply compressed air gun to bottom of handle and

carefully press button out with compressed air.

Mount handle - 3 - onto the selector lever completely - the lock button on the handle - 2 - faces the driver.

‹› When doing this, handle must engage into ring groove of the selector lever.

-

Remove cable tie - arrow - or assembly aid, the button mechanism engages into the vertical groove on selector lever.

‹› The lock button must move by itself in the handle.

‹› The button does not move, then the handle is not installed correctly.

Pull sleeve - 1 - upward and lock it by turning it clockwise.
