CD Changer: Service and Repair

Removing

-

Remove screws -1- from cover.

-

Unhook fastening band -2-.

-

Remove cover from CD changer.

-

Remove nuts -4-.

-

Remove bracket -7- along with CD changer -2- from threaded studs and move assembly to the side.

-

Disconnect CD changer connector -1- and vehicle wiring harness connector from interface -6-.

-

Remove CD changer and bracket from vehicle.

-

Remove screws -5- and remove CD changer -2- from bracket. 

-

Remove screws -3- and remove interface -6- from bracket -7-.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-

Ensure housing of interface -6- does not contact vehicle Ground (GND).
