Routing of ribbed belt on vehicles with out A/C.

Routing of ribbed belt on vehicles with A/C.

Reinstall viscous fan frame and viscous fan, with ribbed belt using torque wrench 1331, and fork wrench 3312.

VISCOUS FAN TO CARRIER TORQUE

Without fork wrench 3312 [1] ..................................................................................................................................................................  70 Nm (52 ft lb)

With fork wrench 3312 and torque wrench 1331 .....................................................................................................................................  37 Nm (27 ft lb)

With fork wrench 3312 and without torque wrench 1331:
220 mm torque wrench [2] .......................................................................................................................................................................  33 Nm (24 ft lb)
280 mm torque wrench [2] .......................................................................................................................................................................  37 Nm (27 ft lb)
300 mm torque wrench [2] .......................................................................................................................................................................  39 Nm (29 ft lb)

If fork wrench 3312 is not used, torque wrench length does not effect bolt torque.

When using fork wrench 3312, applied torque is affected by torque wrench length. Torque wrench length is measured from center of socket to
center of handle.
