CAUTION!
‹› Do not damage the surface of the anchor when marking it by scratching or denting it.

‹› Do not remove the cover - 4 - under any circumstances.

Remove the nut - 5 - from the shaft - 3 -.

Remove the upholstery on the backrest. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover and Upholstery ] See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Covers and
Upholstery.

Backrest Adjustment Motor, Removing

‹› The switch unit must be removed to remove the backrest adjustment motor - 7 - but it does not need to be replaced.

Remove the switch unit. Refer to => [ Switch Unit, Removing ].

Remove the shaft - 3 - in the - direction of the arrow - from the backrest frame - 1 -.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 6 - on the backrest adjustment motor - 7 -.

-

Remove the bolt - 2 -.

-

Remove the bracket adjustment motor - 7 - from the bracket - 5 -.
