Lumbar Support Adjustment Switch

Removing

CAUTION!
‹› Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components.

‹› Before handling pyrotechnic components (e.g. disconnecting the electrical connector), the person handling it must "discharge static

electricity ". This can be done by touching door striker, for example.

Remove tunnel side trim panel => [ Trim, Sill Side ].  See: Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Manual Standard Front Seats 

-

Disconnect connector - 4 -.

-

Remove the bolts - 2 -.

-

Remove the lumbar support adjustment switch (E176) or (E177) - item 1 - from the trim - 3 -.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

Route the wires as close to the connector - 4 - as possible.
