Loosen guide frame bolts in sequence - 24 to 1 -. 

‹› Proceed in the same way with right guide frame.

Carefully remove the guide frame.

Mark the camshafts so they can be installed later and remove them. 

Installing

‹› Tightening specifications => [ Camshaft guide frame tightening specifications and sequence ] See: Service and Repair

‹› Replace seals and sealing rings.

CAUTION!
Risk of contaminating lubricating system and bearing.

‹› Cover open parts of engine.

CAUTION!
Risk of eye injury.

‹› Wear safety glasses.

Using a rotating plastic brush, remove any remaining sealant from the cylinder head and guide frame.

Clean sealing surfaces, must be free of oil and grease.

-

Oil running surfaces of both camshafts.

-

Place camshafts in the cylinder head, being careful of their position so the guide frame can be laid on top without tension.

Left cylinder head:

1. Intake camshaft

2. Exhaust camshaft
