Free up power steering hydraulic oil hose on the left subframe. 

-

Free up the electrical cables on the right subframe.

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 3 - on the Left Electron-Hydraulic Engine Mount Solenoid Valve (N144).

-

Remove bolts - 1, 4 - and - arrows -, the retaining plate - 2 - for the left engine mount remains in the installation position.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 - on the Right Electron-Hydraulic Engine Mount Solenoid Valve (N145).

-

Remove right engine mount bolt - 1 -.

‹› Ignore items - 3, 4 - and - arrows -. 

-

Support the subframe using Engine/Transmission Jack (V.A.G 1383 A) as shown in the illustration.
