Carefully press the upper section of the oil pan off the cylinder block alignment pins.
Installing
‹› Tightening specifications => [ Upper section of oil pan, tightening specifications and sequence ] See: Oil Pan Upper Section Assembly Overview
‹› Replace sealing rings and O-rings.
CAUTION!
Risk of contaminating lubricating system and bearing.
‹› Cover open parts of engine.
CAUTION!
Risk of eye injury.
‹› Wear safety glasses.

Remove sealant residue on the upper section of the oil pan and the cylinder block, for example using a rotating plastic brush.
