Secondary Air Injection Right Combination Valve

Removing

-

Removing Coolant Connecting Pieces. Refer to => [ Coolant Connections ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant
Line/Hose/Service and Repair/Coolant Connections.

Remove Throttle Valve Control Module (J338).

-

Remove secondary air hose - arrow - by pressing the release buttons.

Remove bolt - 2 - and move the bracket together with the wiring harness to the side.

-

Remove bolts - 3 - and remove the right secondary air injection (AIR) combi-valve.

‹› Ignore - 1 -.

‹› To provide a better illustration, component location is shown from behind with engine removed.

Installing

‹› Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection System Assembly Overview ] See: Service and Repair. 

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Replace seals and O-rings.

‹› Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model. 

‹› During installation, all cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.

Install Throttle Valve Control Module (J338).
