Wiper Control Module: Service and Repair

Windshield Wiper Motor with Windshield Wiper Motor Control Module

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Pry Lever (80 - 200)

Removing

-

Remove wiper arms, refer to => [ Windshield Wiper Arms ] See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Arm/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement.

Remove the seal - arrow -.

-

Unclip the plenum chamber cover - 1 through 3 - and remove it.

-

Remove the securing clips - 2 - - arrow A  -.

CAUTION!
The cowl panel trim could be damaged.

‹› Coat the space between the windshield and the cowl panel trim with some soapy water.

Carefully remove the cowl panel trim - 1 - starting at the edge of the glass vertically from the windshield - arrows B  -

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 -.
