To protect ball joint thread, screw nut on a few turns to pin.

Press tie rod end off wheel bearing housing using ball joint puller (T40010 A). Remove nut.

Remove bolt - 3 -.

Separate threaded connection - 1 - and guide control arm out and tilt it forward.
‹› To remove bolt - 1 -, turn steering gear all the way to the left or right depending on the side of the vehicle.
