Driveshaft tightening sequence:

First tighten the bolt next to the colored marking - 1 - to 20 Nm.

‹› By doing this, the CV joint is pushed slightly to the opposite side and imbalance is avoided.

Then tighten the rest of the driveshaft bolts - 1 - on the rear final drive in stages to 20 Nm.

Tighten the 6 bolts to the torque specification, refer to => [ (Item 5) Bolt ] See: Driveshaft Assembly Overview.

‹› Use the counterhold tool (T10172) with the adapters (T10172/5) to do this.

Tighten the bolts on the front driveshaft. Tightening specification, refer to => [ (Item 5) Bolt ] See: Driveshaft Assembly Overview.
