‹› Assembly tool (T10065) can also be used instead of clamp (40-204 A).
‹› Torque wrench (V.A.G 1331)
‹› CV joint boot clamp tool (V.A.G 1682)
‹› Circlip pliers (commercially-available)

Secure axle shaft with protective covers in vise clamp.

Drive cover down with copper or brass drift.
