Insert sealing ring in groove on shaft.

Slide on CV joint up to sealing ring.

-

Align sealing ring at center with opening upward - see arrows  -.

Install old axle shaft bolt into joint as shown in the illustration.

Drive joint onto axle shaft with plastic hammer until circlip engages. 

-

Add specified quantity of grease to inner joint. See table => [ Grease Quantity and Type ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Front Suspension/Drive Axle Assembly Overview.

Slide protective boot onto joint.

-

Bleed protective joint boot.

-

Make sure protective boot is seated on joint correctly.

-

Protective joint boot must fit in groove and on joint contour.

Tension clamps on outer joint => [ Large and Small Clamps, Clamping on Inner or Outer Joint ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures.
