Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Pulling hook (T20143/1)

‹› Thrust piece (T40174)

‹› Sealing grease (G 052 128 A1)

Transmission, removing => [ Transmission, Removing ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Transmission, Removing.

Remove the clutch module => [ Clutch Module ] See: Clutch/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Clutch Module.

Pry the input shaft seal out.

-

Lightly oil new seal on outer circumference.

-

Fill area between sealing lip and dust lip halfway with sealing grease (G 052 128 A1).

-

Drive new seal in as far as the stop; be sure not to distort it.
