Adhesive stop profile

‹› Distance to the edge of the window dimension f = 24 mm

‹› Bond the adhesive stop profile directly by the window defroster distributing wire.

‹› Window adhesive must not come into contact with the rear window defroster distributing wire.

Undamaged Rear Window, Removing

‹› C-pillar trim removed.

‹› Auxiliary brake light removed.

Disconnect rear window defroster and window antenna connectors and secure to center of window with adhesive tape.

CAUTION!
When removing a window, always wear protective eyewear and leather gloves.

Pierce guide through adhesive bead using guide needle - 2 - with handle - 1 -.

Hold guide needle as close to glass as possible.

-

Remove handle and thread cutting cord through eye of needle.

-

Thread cutting cord through spooling tool - 1 - and clamp securely.
