Fan Clutch: Testing and Inspection
With engine off, viscous fan should rotate freely with a slight drag from the viscous fluid. There should be no sign of leakage around the body or shaft of
the fan clutch. Axial play measured at the outer edge of the fan wheel should not exceed 15 mm.
