Valve Body: Service and Repair
Valve Body Assembly

REMOVAL

-

Loosen 8-point connector (arrow -1-) by turning bayonet lock counterclockwise.

-

Disconnect connector from transmission.

-

Loosen nut (arrow-2-).

-

Remove drain plug -1- and drain ATF.

-

Disconnect ATF filler tube -3- from ATF oil pan (where applicable).

-

Detach bracket -2- for ATF line.

-

Remove ATF oil pan mounting nuts with spacers (arrows), and remove ATF oil pan.

-

Remove mounting bolts (arrows) and ATF strainer.

-

Remove valve body mounting bolts (arrows).

-

Remove valve body along with wiring harness.

INSTALLATION

-

Install in reverse order of removal.
