Fig. 3 Over-center spring, removing and installing

- Remove left-side storage shelf
- Remove left footwell airvent
- Remove guard plate between wiring harness connector and pedal cluster.
- Push retaining clip 3246 sideways onto over-center spring.
- Depress clutch pedal and remove over-center spring, along with retaining clip.
- Install in reverse order of removal.

Note:  The retaining clip 3246 is shown with the pedal bracket removed to simplify the illustration. Grease the bearing journals with Part No. G
000 602 before assembling.
