Brake Pad: Removal and Replacement

Brake Pads

Removing

‹› When removing, mark brake pads that will be used again. Install in the same position, otherwise braking effect will be uneven!

‹› Observe the direction of rotation when installing brake disc arrow on brake disc and installed location left or right.

Raise vehicle.

-

Remove wheels.

-

Secure brake disc using a wheel bolt - arrow -.

-

Using screwdriver, pry off brake pad retaining spring from brake caliper housing and remove.

-

Disconnect brake wear indicator connector

-

Release connector from retainer using a screwdriver and simultaneously turn connector 90°
