Keyless Entry: Description and Operation

General Information

NOTE:

After the car has been parked for a lengthy time and/or after replacing the central locking system pump, the central locking system must be
operated several times before it will function properly.

When the system is operating correctly, all locks will close within approx. 2 seconds. If the pump operates for longer than 5 seconds there is a
leak in the system. When there is a leak in the system, the pump must not run for more than 30 seconds, after which the control module in the
central locking system pump must switch off the pump.

All the lock actuators, as well as front and rear distributors, are equipped with vacuum line connectors that lock when connected.
