Check wiring connection from socket 2 of particular connector of engine mount for short to Ground.

If diode test lamp does not blink.

Checking wiring connection

-

Connect VAG1598/31 test box to wiring harness for engine control module. Do not connect to the engine control module itself. Refer to "Scan
Tool Testing/Scan Tool Connecting and Initial Checks/Connecting VAG1598/31 Test Box" under "Powertrain Management"  See: Powertrain
Management/Computers and Control Systems/Testing and Inspection

Check wiring connection of particular connector of engine mount for open circuit and short circuit to B+.

2-pin harness connector, terminal  VAG1598/31 test box, socket

Wiring resistance: max. 1.5 ohm

Eliminate short or open circuit if necessary.

If there is no malfunction in the wiring:

-

Replace particular engine mount.

Display readiness code. 
If DTC memory was erased generate readiness code.
