Removing

Move steering wheel up as far as possible inward and upward.

-

For vehicles with coded radio, radio/navigation system note coding: ask if necessary.

Disconnect battery ground strap/cable and cover battery pole.

-

Remove Torx bolts T30 - 5 - at backside of steering wheel with Torx wrench - 6 -.

-

Carefully fold airbag unit - 3 - to back and remove connector - 2 - toward airbag unit.

-

Position airbag unit so impact cushion points upward.
