Removing

Move steering wheel up as far as possible in interior and upward.

For vehicles with coded radio, radio/navigation system note coding: ask if necessary.

Disconnect battery ground strap/cable and cover battery pole.

Remove Torx bolts T30 left and right - 7 - at the backside of the steering wheel with TORX-wrench - 8 - Fig. 1.

Carefully fold airbag unit - 5 - to back and remove connector - 3 - from airbag unit.

Position airbag unit so impact cushion points upward.
