Vehicle must be standing on ground when tightening

M 16 bolt: 190 Nm (140 ft. lbs.) plus additional 180° turn.
2 - Boot for outer constant velocity joint

Check for tears and chafing

To equalize the pressure, briefly lift boot before tightening hose clamp Refer to Fig. 3
