Install pinion together with new spacer sleeve.

Warm inner race of small tapered roller bearing to approximately 100°C (212°F) and place on pinion.

Press pinion up and install bearing to stop using 40-21.

Lubricate O-ring with gear oil.

Lubricate outer circumference of sealing ring with gear oil.

Lubricate space between sealing lip and dust lip with gear oil.
