Tire Pressure Monitoring Control Module 2

Removing

The tire pressure monitoring control module 2 ( J793) is located under the instrument cluster.

Before removing control module, read out code using Guided Fault Finding in "Replace control module" function.

Remove instrument cluster. See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Instrument Cluster / Carrier

Remove bolts - arrows -

-

Remove tire pressure monitoring control module 2 (J793) - 2 - and disconnect connector -  1 -.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, with special attention to the following:

If tire pressure monitoring control module 2 ( J793) is replaced, system must be recoded.

Connect VAS 5051 and select "Guided Functions" 

Then:

Replacing 4C control module (repair group 44)
